Conjunto de mobiliários desenvolvidos como parte do projeto da equipe de Fortaleza (Cidade criativa do Design), ganhador do 1° lugar no International Street Design Challenge 2021, desafio de design que reuniu equipes da Rede de Cidades Criativas da UNESCO, o evento foi organizado pelas cidades criativas de Curitiba (BR), Wuhan (CN) e Querétaro (MX). O desafio propôs a criação, em 48 horas, de um projeto de intervenção urbana e buscou conscientizar sobre as discussões que acontecem na Conferência Global COP26 sobre Saúde e Mudanças Climáticas - Recuperação Saudável e Verde, além de promover o intercâmbio entre os estudantes de design, arquitetura e urbanismo de nossas cidades.
O projeto de intervenção urbana foi desenvolvido para a Rua Nemuno, na cidade de Kaunas na Lituânia, e buscou valorizar o espaço, a comunidade e seu engajamento. Os mobiliários tentam traduzir o momento que a cidade está passando, a junção da tradição e modernidade e o vislumbre de um futuro otimista. a modularidade e a possibilidade de intervenção, por parte da comunidade, nos mobiliários são de grande importância para o projeto.
Furniture set developed as part of the project by the team from Fortaleza (Creative City of Design), Brazil, winner of 1st place in the International Street Design Challenge 2021, a design challenge that brought together teams from the cities of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network, an event organized by the creative cities of Curitiba (BR), Wuhan (CN) and Querétaro (MX). The challenge, which proposed the creation of a 48-hour intervention project, sought to raise awareness of the discussions taking place at the COP26 Global Conference on Health and Climate Change - Healthy and Green Recovery and to promote exchanges between design, architecture and urbanism students of our cities.
The urban intervention project was developed for Nemuno street, in the city of Kaunas in Lithuania, and sought to value the space, the community and its engagement. The furniture tries to translate the moment the city is going through, the junction of tradition and modernity and the glimpse of an optimistic future. modularity and the possibility of intervention, by the community, in the furniture are of great importance for the project.
